Tehran is ready to resume nuclear discussions with the United States provided that it is handled with "dignity" and "honor", Tehran's foreign minister has announced.

The Iranian diplomat declared exclusively dialogue was effective, and disclosed new appeals had originated from intermediaries to restart talks with the Trump administration. He asserted Iran had zero unreported enrichment locations, and Iran was not yet able to allow the International Atomic Energy Agency to access struck enrichment centers for security reasons.

Walking a Challenging Course

Araghchi is treading a complex route since Iran does not want be seen to be proceeding from a situation of disadvantage, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had emerged stronger defensively and mentally from the coordinated strike on its atomic facilities in June.

He was addressing at a defense forum in Tehran where he reaffirmed that Iran had "an absolute privilege to enrich uranium domestically that it will perpetually retain" – the key factor of the deadlock in the earlier negotiations.

Previous Negotiations Suddenly Terminated

The prior phases of negotiations between the United States and Iran were ended suddenly and acrimonious end on 12 June when Israel, with Washington's assistance, targeted Iran's enrichment centers in a two-week conflict that culminated with Donald Trump claiming the locations had been obliterated.
